My tutorial finished at 1.30pm and the bus to the airport came at 1.37pm. Everything went so smooth that I can't even believe it. Half an hour ago I was still cracking my head doing Economics assignment, half an hour later I was already on my way to another city. I arrived at the airport at 2.10pm.

After getting my boarding pass, I read the newspapers that I took from Uni while waiting for my flight.

It took about an hour or so to get to Auckland from Wellington. The moment I boarded the plane, I fell asleep straight away.

Reached Auckland at around 4.20pm. The Auckland airport even provides free internet access. So while waiting for my brother to fetch me from the airport, I went to check my mail and facebook. The moment I opened the facebook link, it showed another person's account.

I was really really bad. I wrote "I'm gay. Trust me." on his facebook status :p

For dinner, me and my brother went to a chinese restaurant. I can't remember the name of the restaurant. We ordered a small pot of soup individually. I think the soup was quite good. But my brother actually thought it wasn't that good compared to what he had last time. Honestly I think Auckland is more like an Asian city rather than an ang moh city. Everywhere I go, there's always asian people. What happened to those ang moh??

Chicken soup

I had sweet and sour pork on rice on Friday night.

And that was my brother's.

Then we went to watch GI-Joe together. We bought the ticket online before we went for dinner.

The movie was great. But it involves too much computer graphics, making the whole movie seems unrealistic. Overall, it's still a good movie to watch.

The movie finished at about 11.30pm. Finally we went home and I slept like a pig until the next morning.

I woke up at around 9.30am the next day. After having a nice warm bath, me and my brother walked to Imax, the place where we watched the GI-Joe to have a light breakfast. He brought me there to try out at a Malaysian stall.

The workers are Malaysian.
My dad bought me this shirt from HongKong. Isn't it cute? The customers are also Malaysian. When we were sitting at a table waiting for our bread, one of the customers talked to the cashier in Malaysian style. Very very Malaysian I tell you.

The moment I saw the word Ice-Lemon Tea on their menu. I ordered it without having a second thought. This is my first time ever having an Ice-Lemon Tea in New Zealand.

We had Steam Kaya and Kaya Toast.

Totally love it.

It was really good. It's really easy to make but I can't be bothered to make them for myself.

That's why I never eat them when I can just go to the supermarket, buy myself a loaf of bread and a can of Kaya.

After having those, we went to Victoria Park Market. The place is quite similar to what we have in Kuching called Carpenter Street, where they sell cheap and affordable goods. I didn't buy anything from there though.

Then my brother brought me to this shop called Nood where they sell home decoration items. Most items are quite attractive and very modern like.

My brother's friend, Ah Kit came to join us for lunch after that. We went to have Taiwan cuisine this time.

Me and Ah Kit had Simmering Beef Noodles while my brother had Dried Noodles with Pork Mince. We also had a small side dish, Fried Squid.

My brother's Dried Noodles with Pork Mince

And my Simmering Beef Noodles.

Delicious as it seems ;)

Just by looking at these photos, I feel like eating the noodles again.

After lunch, we headed down to Orewa Beach. While my brother was driving, I was at the back reading the magazines that he took for free. And I came accross this while flipping through the magazine. Why would someone call themselves Panda? So stupid.

The weather seems good in the photo.

But in reality, the wind was strong like mad.

We didn't stay for long. Then we left.

This time, we drove down to Muriwai Beach. It's quite a distance from Auckland City. I actually fell asleep on our way there.

The moment I opened my eyes, we were already there.

There were so many gannets, a kind of seabird.

I left my footprint there ;)

And we found a starfish! A discovery found by my brother! Can't see?

My first time ever looking at a real starfish.

If you look at it near, it looks like mussels.

They are actually very small. When you see them from a normal distance, they look exactly like this.

We spent about an hour or so there. Then we went to play golf at a driving range. I haven't played it for so long.

All my standing and holding positions were wrong.

It was time to eat again. This time we went for Korean Barbeque.

Love it to the max. Since it's a buffet style, I just grab as much as I like. My brother and Ah Kit were shocked by the amount of food that I could eat

Ah Kit did most of the barbeque for us. Me and my brother were just sitting there enjoying our meal :p

My favourite! My mum will shout at me if she sees this.

I didn't know what it was until Ah Kit said it could be a cow's tail. I quickly threw aside.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Tried their noodles too.

I tried nearly everything, but I forgot to have their dessert :(

We had lots of meats last night. Seriously a lot.

After dinner, we went to my brother's office to grab an umbrella for my aunt. On our way out, me and Ah Kit grabbed 2 bottles of beer each from my brother's office. This is the first time I heard that the employers provide alcoholic drinks to employees. Unbelievable.
